Mark Cousens has over 20 years’ experience in the Artificial Grass game having formerly operated independently as Duraputt, servicing the greater Durban area, before joining the Belgotex Grass Family. As an avid golfer Mark started out by looking for a solution for a home putting green for himself and this developed into a successful business. His eye for detail coupled with his years of experience makes him a valuable addition to the Belgotex Grass Team. Having imported his own product for several years Mark will be the first to tell you about the importance of having a quality product which is backed up by a reputable company, as well as the importance of getting the installation right the first time. We asked Mark what advice he would give to someone considering having artificial grass installed, “… To test the quality of the artificial grass turn it over and have a look at the backing, if it is cracked or flaky you are going to have problems with it. If it is cheap it is probably poor quality and some cheap products don’t even last 2 years…. You pay for what you get!!”
