Donovan holds a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture and, along with his partner, Leon, has been working in the landscape industry in the Gauteng region, the rest of South Africa, and abroad, since 1996. In 2010 they noticed a landscape-changing “new fad” making inroads into the Green Industry. Recognising it as an extremely valuable product for many different reasons, they began using artificial lawn where ever possible. Over the past nine years, the “fad” became their main business as they understand what clients and other designers wish to create in their space. Donovan and Leon still remember those early days, when the general public looked at them with apprehension when they used the words “fake grass”. They are proud to have been in the industry that has mushroomed since then from the very start and in 2018, Forever Green Lawn (Pty) Ltd became Belgotex Grass Centurion. The Belgotex Grass Centurion team believes that their business goes beyond selling “make-believe lawn”. With a strong design ethos and background, their goal is not simply to sell as many square meters of artificial lawn as possible - their passion is to create an area that compliments their clients' lifestyle and answers their needs. Donovan and Leon are spirited about quality installations and their team will go the extra mile to ensure that the client is left with a high-quality result, making use of the highest calibre products in the Belgotex Grass range. The other evening my phone rang at 6pm from a client whose installation we finished that day. He was almost in tears trying to explain how we had done such an amazing job and that we are one of the few businesses he has ever dealt with that lived up to all our promises from the moment we met him. THAT makes me smile at the end of a stressful day!
